El Camin Encantau (The Enchanted Road Route)
oday we would like to recommend a route in Llanes: the Camín Encantau.
This is a circular route, meaning that we start in the town of La Venta and return to the same town. We will pass through various villages such as Ardisana, Riocaliente, and La Malatería.
The route is around 8.5 km long and we will encounter different figures from Asturian mythology, such as the Ñuberu, the Trasgu, and the Diañu Burlón; hence its name in Asturian, “Camín Encantau,” which in Spanish means “enchanted path.”
In addition, the path is marked with signs so that you can follow the route without getting lost. You will encounter wonderful views of the landscape and the beautiful surroundings.
