Llanes' beaches
Without a doubt, the beaches of Asturias are characterized by the Cantabrian Sea blending with the natural beauty of its mountains.
Near Mestas de Con is Llanes, where you can find different beaches to suit all tastes.
For the little ones, the most recommended one is Poo Beach (Poo de Llanes), which, being so small and enclosed, has the sea entering through the cliffs, creating a calm pool that is perfect for children.
Another beach that we find very interesting is Gulpiyuri Beach (Naves de Llanes), or the smallest beach in the world. Not only does it have a strange name, but the beach is something you have probably never seen before. It only has water when the tide is high!
The water seeps between the rocks, filling this small sandy area, which is located between meadows, with water, creating a tiny beach where it is impossible to see the horizon.

Cuevas del Mar Beach
Another beach we love is Cuevas del Mar, in Nueva de Llanes.
It gets its name from the fact that to reach it, you have to go through a stone cave, in addition to the numerous caves that can be seen in the sea, formed by the erosion of the rocks. It is also often frequented by climbers.

Torimbia Beach
Another recommendation is Torimbia Beach (Niembro). Although you have to walk quite a long way to get down to the beach, the views from the viewpoint in the car park are incredible and unbeatable.
On one side, you can see the wide beach and, on the other, the coast of Llanes and Toranda Beach, which also belongs to the village of Niembro.
